We are pleased to inform you that applications are now open for the Eni Award 2026, the international prize that recognizes outstanding achievements in research and innovation in the energy and environmental sectors.
The 2026 awards include:
Three main prizes (Energy Transition, Energy Frontiers, Advanced Environmental Solutions), each worth €200,000, and a personalized plaque, presented during a ceremony in Italy.
Two “Young Researcher of the Year” awards, for doctoral theses defended at Italian universities, each worth €25,000.
Two “Young Talents from Africa” awards – for African first-year doctoral students, each worth €25,000.
Three “Eni for Innovation” awards – for innovative digital or technological projects.
The winners will be invited to Italy for the official ceremony, with travel and accommodation expenses covered.
Deadline for applications is November 14th, 2025 (only for “Eni for Innovation” Recognitions the deadline is January 31st, 2026).
