“Egypt-PRIMA Initiative: From Concept to Project Planning Collaboration,” a workshop co-organized by the EU PRIMA Foundation and the CIHEAM Institute in Bari, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Cairo and the local Italian Trade Agency (ITA).
The workshop featured representatives from the Egyptian Ministries of Supply and Internal Trade, Higher Education and Research, Agriculture, Irrigation, and International Cooperation, as well as representatives from the Italian Ministry of University and Research (online), the European Union Delegation, research institutions, and 30 agritech companies (13 Italian and 17 Egyptian).
The workshop provided an opportunity to present the findings developed by CIHEAM based on three of the most promising research and development projects funded by PRIMA in the agricultural sector.
