ANSA: An Italian seminar on women and science in Cairo

Organised by the Embassy on the occasion of two anniversaries

Under the title “Science, she says!”, a seminar was held in Cairo organised by the Italian Embassy in Cairo to mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGS) and two milestones in the global journey to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment: the 10th anniversary of IDWGS itself and the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, adopted during the 4th World Conference on Women in 1995.
